The Council members, realizing that their fellow students have placed faith and responsibility in them, have endeavored to fulfill their duties according to that motto: Charity in promoting better student relationships in sincere friendship, Service in providing training in leadership, practical education in the principles of American Democracy, promotion of Catholic Wel- fare so that they and their fellow students will be prepared to meet the challenge of Catholic Action and American citizen- ship, Honor in continuing the advancement of the Spirit of St. Francis de Sales High School in loyalty and truth.
