As part of the First Aid program to implant first aid and home nursing skills, Pixie Etchart practices artificial respiration on willing Charlotte Saffels. In drama and speech classes expressive and projectional skills are stimulated and developed. Sophomore Mary Ellen Rob- bins demonstrates the characteristics of a good orator.

During one of the geometry classes Rosa Vaughn explains why veritcal angles are equal. Angles, lines, circles and figures of all types are part of the geometry course. Waili clzafengea afuclenla As Mary Halsted reviews the problem, Jill Stroud works for the answer using the slide rule. Logarithms and the use of the slide rule are new mathematical con- cepts learned by trigonometry students. To many algebra students symbols, equations and graphs spell despair, but Barbara Steffan and Judy Navickas seem to understand them perfectly.
