Many of the girls also attend daily mass here. in the beauty and dignity 0 P R 0 VI D E N CI E ocated in the northeastern part of Rhode Island, Provi' dence is its capital and lwriiicipal city. lt is one of thc pic' turesque and historical sites of New England. The State House has the second largest marhle dome in the world, and is considered one of the most beautiful huildings in the counf try. Providence is an industrial city, the center of jewelry manufacturing. Numerous educational facilities include a splendid public library. Saint Xavier's is its oldest Catholic high school. La Salle Academy. staffed by the Christian Brothers, is the largest parochial boys school in the State of Rhode Island. Its high academic standards are well-known to all of us here.
