,-.4-ll Mother Mary Antonine, R.S.M., as Mother Assist- ant Provincial, is also a member of the advisory board. Mother has been a member of the Provincial Council since 1954. During that time she also served as acting dean of Salve Regina College in 1956 and 1957, replacing Sister Mary Emeria, Acting in an advisory as well as a directive capacity, Mother Mary Catherine, R.S.M.. Mother Provin- cial, carries on in the true McAuley spirit. lwothcr appoints and is responsible for the training of faculty members. As highest superior, Mother also acts as honorary president of Saint Francis Xavier Alumnae Association. ,fm R. S. M., who died in office. 1-if Q, shy., Sister Mary Pierre, R.S.M., is presently superior of Saint Francis Xavier Convent, where she received her appointment in August, 1956. Sister was formerly principal of Mercyiiiont Country Day School, Manville. Later she was transferred to Saint Mary, Bristol, where she was superior of the convent and principal of the school.
