Concentrating on bisecting an angle equal to B in plane geometry, Anne O'Connell of Junior One strives to become a skilled mathematician, during a well-conducted class period in geometry. Junior One and junior Two comprise the ninety' nine students taking the college preparatory course. Their homeroom teachers are Sister lvlary Audrey, R.S.M,. and Sister lvlary Emily. R.S.M. Subject requirements include religion. Englisli. Frencli, and geometry. Depending on her individual needs. the student may select Latin, world history. or physics for a fifth subject. Courses in tlie history of art and music provide culture for the tliirdfyear student: while guidance and physical education cultivate both mentally and physically the college juniors' personal development. They also lvegin journalism training and are introduced to current events in the junior Legislature. College Junior In this junior Latin class, Patricia Silva scans lines from Virgil. Barbara Maura, Diane McBride, and jane Mc- Namara look for possiblek errors, but Patricia doesn't seem to be worried. Wearing raincoats and kerchicfs. and carrying umbrellas, they are ready for rain. Anne Shannon, Maureen Hob- son, and Margaret Mulvey skeptically watch darkening skies. You should have brought your rubbers, too, girls.
