We Zmffhone 74ee . . . ITH these words the Sacred Heart of jesus was ofhcially established as the patron of St. Xavier's Academy. In an en- thronement ceremony on September fifteenth. all our classes. all our recreation, and all our social activities were dedicated to Christ the King. Following the blessing of the individual pic- tures and statues for each home room. Rev. Francis Larkin. SS. CC.. the director. installed a large image of the Sacred Heart in the main corridor of Academy Hall. accompanied by the ever- delightful chanting of our Ave Maria choristers in formal pro- cession. As the student body assembled on the campus, their voices were lifted in loving praise to their patron. A thousand veiled heads bowed in humble adoration as the Sacred Host was raised in solemn Benediction in our garden shrine, culminating the beautiful ceremony. We leave St. Xavier's now. NVe do not leave our enthrone- mentg for Christ is enshrined in each heart. and we can never leave Him. Never.
