The racial clubs of St. Francis during their two years of existence, have contributed in bringing its members nearer to the culture and language of their respective nationalities. All of the clubs took part in the Aloha Week assembly, contributing songs, dances, and short plays. One of the memorable events of the year was the Chinese Club's presentation of The Dreadful Dragon. Of notable interest, too, was the clothing drive sponsored by the Caucasian Club for needy people in Portugal. Each club recited the rosary on various days of the week for the intention of world peace. As a combined club project, the racial clubs sponsored a dance to raise money for the school building fund. Through our nationality clubs we learned more of the brotherhood of men, unity of nations in one faith, and of glorifying the Mystical Body in that union. With membership limited to Seniors and a few ex- perienced underclassmen, the group is as yet in the experimental stage. Before the end of the year we hope to have a constitution, and an annual program of activities.
