My dear girls, The beautiful admonition you have chosen as the theme for this year's TROUBADOUR wants understanding before it can be followed. How does one let the word of Christ dwell in her abundantly? I am going to ask St. Paul to answer this to you, and let his answer constitute my message to you for this year. It can be found in the same letter to the Colossians from which you have taken your theme. Beloved, Christ has brought you to life, forgiving you all your sins. Because you have risen with Him, seek the things that are above Cwhere He is seated at the right hand of Godj, not the things that are on earth. Mortify your members, which are on earth. Strip off the old man with his deeds and put on the new. Put on, holy and beloved ones, a heart of mercy, kindness, humil- ity, meekness, patience. Bear with one another and forgive one another. As the Lord has forgiven you, so also do you forgive. ' In this way let the word of Christ dwell in you abundantly. May His peace reign in your hearts, for unto that peace you have been called.
