Une Step Forwar SENIOR PATRON: Our Lady of Good Studie: SENIOR MOTTO: Ad Majorem Gloriam Dei SENIOR COLOR: Green and White SENIOR FLOWER: White Carnation Under the leadership of capable officers and an understanding advisor, the Senior Class of 1951 with its fifty-seven girls has arrived at the moment of departure from the harbor of care and protection. After years of hard study and prayer in preparation these girls will take their first step to carry bravely whatever responsi- bilities they must shoulder, as Christian women, in a world of confusion and conflict. That graduation will close forever the joys and pleasures of girlhood days, and the realistic trials and tribulations of this world must be overcome by each girl who is determined to reach a state of perfection. We implore you, Mother Mary, that before each girl takes her step you will first take her hand firmly in yours and be a constant guide to each until -your Divine Son receives her in His arms, safe for all eternity. Without you, Mother Mary, we become lost in the shifting sands of the desert, but in you, we become the pillars of this earth. Let this step of departure strengthen the ties between your Divine Son and us, and further His honor and glory.
