Arise and go into the city, and there it shall be told thee what thou must do . The graduate of Saint Francis Preparatory School has been to Damascus and has been told what he must do. Faced with the challenge set before him by a godless world, he must be a standard bearer and lead others in the crusade against the enemies of religion. Catholic Action would be weak without his leadership, his courage and his talent. His convictions should be as strong as the principles of his religion and they must be voiced in the same solid, authoritative manner as the dogma he believes. Now that he is a man, he should take his lesson from Saint Paul and, 'fput away childish tl1ings g for now he is ready to take his position in the ranks of the Apostolate. His role of knight in the drama of life far outshines his squiredom and the schoolday conflicts. From now on, he must search and sift and evaluate what he reads and hears, he must analyze opinions and formulate his own and he must tirelessly pursue objective truth, patiently gleaning it from the chaff of words that overwhelms him. He must know the best defense against those who attack his Christian way of life. He must be strong of heart to wear well the armor supplied him by his Catholic Education. His suit of mail is of the best-his blade not fashioned by a terrible Vulcan but by the skilled hand of the Franciscan craftsman whose prayer for love and peace is embellished in every bit of it. His armor will not wear heavy if he keeps his heart light, his mind free, and his soul purei His religion is no talisman that he wears into the fight but the weld itself of soul and body--the integrity upon which his eternal life relies so much.
