From the opening Dance in September. the Welcome Dance. until the gala Junior Prom in the spring. the students at the Prep get ample oppor- tunity to dust off their dancing shoes. Each class sponsors a dance in Sullivan Hall on campus while the Student Council also puts on an affair or two during the course of the year. Sometimes a band is hired: at other times records played over a loud speaker system provides the music. Girls are in- vited from St. Joseph's Academy in lVlcSherrys- David True. We aeiaeal' ani Talk about peace! Retreat time is really just that! School has taken a turn for the most important things in life. Readinf writin' 'n 'rithmetic give wav to the studv of our position as regards our Creator and how we are progressing on the road to Heaven. Vlfe alwavs have a visiting priest for retreat master. His conferences give us plenty to think about for two davs and then some. Then we have Mass and Com- munion, an opportunity to get to confession and plenty of time to visit the library and peruse books on the Saints and the spiritual life. lt's a wonderful wav to prepare for the feast of Easter which follows in a couple days.
