The west wing of the residence building dressed in a coat of white after a fresh snowfall. Snow, sun, trees and building blend to make a beautiful scene. East wing of the student resi- dence taken from below the hill to include Old Glory. fd- F3 1'f '.4 ifigi. ' . I I , 3r 1 1 . fif- The grounds and buildings that make up the Prep are, to say the very least. beautiful. The main building which is used for student residence and which houses the chapel and the dining hall was originally the home of two wealthy families: two homes built into oneye the east residence and the west residence. The workmanship and style of the stone work and landscaping leave nothing to be desired. Gar- dens and lawns add to the beauty. An athletic Held and tennis courts have been added. The various smaller buildings of the estate are used as school building. gymnasium, student and faculty residences, and guest house. From the gatehouse at the entrance there is a winding road past stately trees. beautiful shrubs, and expansive lawns that ends at the top of the hill. The entire campus is located on a knob overlooking the surrounding coun- tryside thereby acquiring the nick-name The Hill. a .
