The hitting department was also impressive as several players were battl After finishing first in the WCAL round-robin the team won the championshi they beat St. Ignatius 13 to 12 in the second game of the playoffs This win the Varsity to advance to Region l. T teams' league record of 10 wins and 2 losses is the best j.V record in St. Francis history. Overall, they posted an awesor record of 17 wins and 4 losses. They were led by a strong pitching staff as they finished o the season well ahead of the rest of the pack. Three plays made it to the WCAL First Team All League: pitcher Mi Crowley, catcher Mike Dotzler, and centerfielder Mike Wal Third baseman john Lango and first baseman Wally Williar are to be congratulated for being chosen for the Second T All League.
