74 On the rollowmg mornmg we went to the Ford Plant and enjoyed the unlque exper1ence of watchlng a Car be1ng assembled and tested We ate lunch 1n th plant caleterla be ore golng to Green F1eld Vlllag forthe afternoon We toured the museum and some of the homes where famous men had l1ved It ha been a pleasant day but a busy one and most of us were content to spend a qulet evenlng On the th1rd day we went to bell Island but a steady ra1n prevented us from enjoymg the many amuse ments In the a ternoon our ent1re group took ad vantage ofthe damp day to share the thr1lls of C1n erama Agaln the even1ng was spent restlng a few amb1t1ous 1nd1V1duals went s1ghtsee1ng The last day ofthe tr1p was a lull one 1ndeed Smce It was Ascens1on Thursday we attended Mass at St Aloyslus Church 10 downtown Detrolt After break foot forthe f1rstt1me on Canad1an so1l after our 1n terest1ng r1de through the Detro1t W1ndsor tunnel We certamly were a typlcal group of s1ghtseers We p1ckedupa souvemr or two as a memento of our v1s1t to a forelgn country At noon We began our long Journey home At Fort Wayn we stopped to see St Francls College and then traveled through Hoos1er land to La ayette Late 1n the evemng we rolled 1nto the hosp1tal grounds to the tune or 'Go On W1th the Bus The tr1p was over the memor1es rema1n It was mdeed on of the hlghllghts ol our Junlor Year Mffpz 14 . l':l 'vv1f'a- Lui Page 22 Q mi 1. . . .
