Everyone had a good time. In September, 1956, twenty-five girls returned to school as mighty seniors. Our senior offic grs are: Mary Cox, President, Judy Dc- Lion, Vice President, Veronica Hession, Secretary, and Jean Lin- der, Treasurer. With Sister Emmanuel as sponsor, our class is working hard to make this their biggest and best year. So far we have attended a Winter Formal, edited a Yearbook, and arranged for the Senior Prom. We sponsored mixers, skating parties, and bake sales. As we now look forward to Graduation Day the class of 1957 is grateiul for everything the Priests and Franciscan Sisters have done for We wish to express our everlasting thanks to His Excellency Bishop John G Bennett and Reverend Arthur A S go lor all their help in continuing St Francis Class of 1957 MOTHERS CLUB Left to right Mrs Frank Petro President Mrs Walter Anthrop V1cePres1dent Mrs W111ysVander1pe Treasurer andMrs Robert Carroll Secretary Page 14 us. The isegion of Mary is dedicated to the Mother oi God. lt is priv- ileged to be one of her allies and as such to help her wage war against the evils of todav. Members ofthis worldwide organization are convinced that it is not enough to pray but that they must be devoted to Mary in an active way. Thus each member is obligated each week to do something in the spirit of obedience. The task is assigned by the President of the Praesidium. The members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Praesidium, students of St. Francis High School, assist with the monthly Birthday Party at St. Anthonys Home tor the Aged, visit the residents, provide a nursery ior the children during the Sunday Iwiass at St. Mary' S Cath- edral, maintainapamphlet rack at the County Courthouse, the Wa- bash Railroad Station, St. Elizabeth Hospital, and visit the patients at the hospital.
