FRANCES HATKE Red The one senior who has it bad It she isnt reading or mailing a letter she is figuring out the distance between here and some army camp She is the flashing red head of the class who instead of having a temper has a good sense f humor MARGARET KAMSTRA Seaweed She has a bad habit of being tardy the buses are always late Every time there is a knock on the door it brings her more work to do Was espe cially busy as editor of the ECHO Has plenty of school spirit and a strong volce to profess lt IEANNE MARTIN leannie Her favorite occupations clicking a lens in a surprise attack on unsuspecting by standers squealing on the slightest provocations eating beyond all human capacity indulging in unpredicted shop ping sprees asking questions and getting answers and talk ing over back fences MABEL MICl'IALKEf Cricket Although she has the strange art of growing more finger nails than hair, she is the only one physically able to do the cricket hop. Mabels chief aid in keeping slim is working her legs off for the good of the school. MARY AGNES HATKE Aggie A student whose silence brought her fame Friend of all foe of none A strictly coun try girl who would make a per fect farmers wife Always po lite and neatly dressed she was nevertheless a whiz on the basketball floor MADELINE KORTY Smiles Her care free disposition and captivating smile are but two outward signs of her happy go lucky nature Like many others she thinks reading is quite the thing She lended her voice to the glee club as a member of the soprano group PAULINE MELLADY farmer Although a farmer at heart she is Wllllftg to taclfle the col lege course She likes the idea of going to school but not well enough for her to have a per fect attendance record Maybe she will do better during her college years C. A. RIEHLE- Pooch A very enthusiastic tudent Whose aim is to further herself scholastically. Her quite charm' ing personality is her best ase set. Besides all of this she finds time for all activities, her fa' vorite being bowling, and we can always have fun with Pooch.
