Master of the Kitchen and a champion on the athletic field would covert loe's description to some extent. A willing and able worker this lad used to hand out the food to us for a long time. Always busy but never complaining, Baltirnore's pride found time to do his studies, and still represent St. Francis in Varsity competition. A slick ball-handler and an able floorman on the basketball court he managed to collect his share of the baskets without resorting an undue concentration on individual honors. Always a gloom chaser and never depressed himself, loe breaks through a gloomy front with a well-chosen quip or two. loseph possesses one of the best dispositions and biggest hearts in the Senior class. We are sincerely hopeful that whatever loe chooses to do, he will find hapiness in it.

The Collar-Ad model of the Class of l947, Frankie is not only a good dresser, but a good all-around man. I-le added his powerful push into making our newly-formed Football team a highly respected one. His driving finish established his position on the Track Varsity. Frank participated in Intramural contests, and was ready to take part in anything which would reflect well on his Alma Mater. lt is, therefore, no accident that he was a much sought-after orator, for his eloquence was of the first order. These experiences and his smooth diction stood him in good stead when he was chosen for the main lead in the Christmas Play in his Senior year. This can not be said of many fellows, but it can be easily applied to Boston. A go-gette-r, he stuck to a job until he had it finished. After two years ot disappointment, he finally succeeded in earning a place for himself on the Varsity Basketball team, which only goes to prove his perseverance and strength of character. When it came to intramural sports competition, lohn was not a specialist. Baseball, football, basketball, or any other sport, he tackled it with equal vigor and always seemed to come out on top when the fight was over. Good sport, good student, good friend-Good Luck!
