With no offense to Grantland Rice, Danny was a top-notch Sports Editor on the Bulletin Stait and the splendid Writeups oi this major social interest at St. Francis are a tribute to his terse, big-time articles. But Dan was by no means just a passive onlooker in the sporting field. Up to the coming of Football as a major sport, he took part in Intramural League competition. But when this real he-man game, as he called it, came into its own up here, Danny began scrimmaging arduously and as the fruit ot his efforts, he promptly became one ot Banas's boys. His service to the Glee Club was recognized and he became Secretary of that renowned society in his senior year. Then there remains his position of Drummer in the Orchestra. By the Work one knowns the Workman, and Richard does himself proud. He has acquitted himself admirably in studies Without becoming a bookworm. To prove this, just take a iook at his extra-curricular activities. A connoisseur of music, both classic and popular, he was a regular member of the Orchestra, and could always be counted on to deliver those high trumpet notes clearly. I-le was furthermore, an active member of the Glee Club and carries with him the honor of having sung on the Rosary Hour. ln the field of Sports, Dick's specialty was Track, and as a Varsity man in that line, he represented his Alma Mater very creditably. ln other Athletics, he took an active interest ,and played for his class teams whole-heartedly. A serious, friendly, and Well-liked youth, Richard intends to pursue studies in Chemistry. His classmates' best Wishes qo with him.

Chubby never let studies interfere with his education. His easy-qoinq, effortless manner used to amaze his classmates, because when Honor Cards were being handed out, he was right there. Outside of the class room, this young product of the Flower City, confined his social activities to those of the more artistic realm, althouqh he participated in Intramural Sports. But it was on the stage that his real talents could be appreciated. In the Senior Christmas play, he had the difficult part of a Sorority qirl, and it is a credit to his acting ability that his impersonation drew the applause of the audience. His manly voice also found expression over the ether. Ioseph's outlook on life can be summed up in this one statement - lt all comes to him who Waits.
