, .--.-., , HiurualEE m7 SUUJW W- I 3m ? m WM 5 WWW BIDDW' HM! Rev. George Marcil, OFM. The same year that we began our college career, Father George Marcil also was beginning his career in the service of God. This duel novitiate created a special bond between Father George and the Class of 1962. Father George, the former Dean of Men, has now assumed the post of Chaplain in addition to his other priestly and academic duties. Despite all this work, Father George is always ready to lend a willing hand and to give a word of encouragcmem whenever needed. No matter how busy he may be, this dedicated man of God always finds time to attend extracurricular activities whether they be a sports event or a social function. We, the Senior Class of St. Francis College, who began ourcoilege days with Father George Marcii, feel that it is fitting that we should end them by dedicating this book to him - our classmate. We cannot remain static; for this will contribute to a potentially dangerous 13g between educational effort and mount- ing educational requirements. REV. CLARENCE LAPLANTE. O. F. M. PRESIDENT PAUL A. BROTHER BONAVENTURE In Recognition The staff of MOTUS '62 would like to take this opportunity to recognize the work that Brother Bonaventure has done for St. Francis College. Brother Bonaventure has lived the Franciscan life by working with the soil and by improving the land- scape around the College. Almost single-handedly. he built Our Lady of Peace Shrine and has always kept the grounds around the Shrine in excellent con- dition. During the summer. he makes sure that the shrubs and flowers are in bloom; during Christmastide, he enhances the beauty of the Shrine with colored lights and trees. It is our hope that this little tribute to Brother Bonaventure will show the staff's, as well as the rest of the college's, appreciation for the work this man has done. all the comforts of home. no time for breakfast before an 8:30 class. too bad they don't offer a course in automotive engineering. .
