We feel that it is an especially apt theme for students at Saint Francis Academy. Saint Francis, God's own troubadour, imbued with the power of poetic intuition, made his entire life a poem-a poem that has not ceased to inspire man through the centuries. As it can truly be said that every man's life is his unique poem, so can a school be said to contribute to the Poetry of Life. -I H ,, 4 i'?1i?7 . VERY SELDOM VIEWED by most academites is the wayside shrine depicting the stigmatization of Saint Francis. CA PUS The recurring cycle of the seasons paralleled the cycle of our life at St. Francis. The poetic beauty of the campus finds expression in the elegance, symmetry, and delicacy of the trees, buildings, and chipmunks of St. Francis. We agree with Richard Milnes Who wrote, A man's best things are nearest him, lie close about his feet.', ENVELOPED IN A CROWN ofsnow, the old alma mater stands stately and mighty against the bois- terous winds of winter. aff!!!
