We the Seniors of 1953, deem it a 9 great pleasure to dedicate this Tenth edition of the FLORHAM to the many Catholic Educators who are advanc- ing and expanding our Educational To the immortal Father Joseph Dabrowski upon the fiftieth anniversary of his death. To the ardent and zealous Priest-Apostle who was instrumental in keeping alive the Catholic Faith, heritage, and culture of the Poles of America. To the Founder and Spiritual Director of the American Provinces of the Felician Sisters, as well as the Educator who established the Seminary of the Felician Sisters, a certified teacher-training school for girls. To the untiring Laborer and Founder of another institution of learning S.S. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, where he helped to mould and educate future priests for the sacred mission amongst their fellow men. To the indomitable missionary Pioneer who promoted the parochial school system in America and who fashioned the ideals of love of God and labor for His cause in the early 1880's. 4

9' System but in particular to two zeal- .- ous leaders in modern education, who take backward and forward looks at the cradel of progress for AMERICAN CATHOLIC EDUCATION To the ever active Father Peter Walkowiak upon opening of the St. Florian Education Center. To our wise counsellor who has shown his interest in each of us and who has greatly influenced the educational picture for the boys and girls of this community. To our farsighted administrator for his unending effort to make S.F.H. a better school and who is constantly formulating plans for a greater Educational Center. To our friendly adviser who has so enthusiastically supported all school activi- ties and for his interest and understanding of the youth of today. To our spiritual guide who has so well enriched and vitalized our knowledge in moral and spiritual values through challenging courses in religion, and the graces received through Holy Mass and the Sacraments. 5
