A daily stroll. GENO RIVI Saint Mary Church Freeport, Pennsylvania Geno is one of the most versatile men of the graduating class. He has al- ways shown a great interest in his studies as well as his various extracurricular activities. Wlhether he is crooning a popular song or singing in the choir, or whether he is whizzing down a steep slope on skis, Geno does so in his character- istic good-natured manner. He is also manager of the mission store, driver of one of the seminary automobiles, and regular member of the sisters' crew. Geno's top quality, however, is his capability for being an all-around good seminarian and a real friend of all. St. Vincent's is Geno's next stop. FREDERICK SCHILI. Sr. Bernard Church New Washington, Ohio Fred's determination and perseverance are easily his most outstanding qual- ities. Both in studies and athletics he has a way of giving his all for whatever he does. Fred is quite a handy man with automobiles and on free afternoons one is almost sure to find him at the garages. As a monitor of the St. john Berchmans Society, he taught many high school freshmen to serve Mass. He plays nearly all sports, but prefers football and tennis. Fred's ready humor and general good nature make him an unforgettable favorite with everyone. He will study for the diocese of Toledo this fall. CLEMENS SCHLUETER Our Lady of Lourdes Church East Palestine, Ohio Clem has been called the diversionist of the class. This is because of his boundless enthusiasm for his current hobbies. He speaks fluent German, and this has prompted him to rearrange the vast collection of German volumes in the Ger- man Room. Clem also entertains a love for the classics of the great composers, especially the works of Beethoven, Bach, and Brahms. His interest in piano and semiclassic music led him to develop the high school musical talent into a glee club. Now he is finally an ardent shutter bug, known for his experiments in photography. Clem plans to add another interest soon when he joins the Capu- chins as a novice.

STEPHEN MALOSKY St. Joseph Church Clairton, Pennsylvania Never too busy to do a favor seems to best sum up Steve's personality traits, and his ability to take a joke is a close runner-up. Yet, Steve is a busy man. As president of the Mission Unit, he has shown a great zeal for the foreign missions. His business-like methods of raising funds for the missions and instilling zeal into the members of the unit are well known. Steve's evenings are usually spent in interesting conversation between puffs of a mellow cigar. St. Vincent's will claim Steve next fall. CLAIR MARONEY St. Mary Church Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania Clair is a man of many interests. Besides his keen ability in the classroom and on the campus, he is intensely interested in current topics and is always ready to debate the latest happenings in national politics or world affairs. Clair is the man to see, too, about the prospects of the St. Louis Cardinals or Notre Dame Irish. Regardless of what he is doing, he is always the center of the crowd. Clair has a hard time suppressing that unruly Irish grin of his, and even the sober black of his cassock at St. Vincent's next fall will not erase that smile. ALEXANDER PLEBAN SS. Cyril and Methodius Church Fairchance, Pennsylvania Due to his wide reading and fine memory, Al is usually able to give the facts in any discussion. No matter if the subject is ancient history or the latest novel or movie, he is equally acquainted with all. His favorite studies, however, are languages. Always ready for athletics, he took part in all sportsg but bowling, basketball, and tennis claimed his highest interest. For relaxation he is satished with a good book, but often he could be found in a card game or just listening to the radio. Al is bound for St. Vincent's and the diocese this fall. ORLANDO POZZUOLI t St. Lawrence Church Hillsville, Pennsylvania If free time were more abundant at St. Fidelis, many more library book cards would bear the name, Orlando Pozzuoli. Reading, to Lundy, is as natural as breathing. But, do not think that all of Lundy's time is spent in an easy chair with a good book in his hand. Baseball and football also claim a share of that precious time, for his educated southpaw seems to know all the tricks of control in pitching and passing. We know that Lundy's magnetic personality and great sense of humor will keep them smiling at St. Vincent's in future years.
