'sir Beck Sponsor The Sludenl Cfiuncil A crowded calendar of events has kept the Student Council busy this year. Early in September the council honored the freshmen at an all-school party. The council prepared the scoreboard for use for the first time at the home grid contests. This yearls council members devoted much time to re- vision of the constitution and a clearer inter- pretation of it. For the Christmas season the council supervised the decorating of the build- ing and conducted the school's Christmas party with the assistance of the F. ll. A. and Band. The student representatives. as in previous years. distributed concessions of the football and basketball games to the various classes. Since the ping-pong tables were set up in the lobby of the gym, they established the rules for regulating the use of the tables and the conduct of the player. The council owes much of its success in the activities of the past year to their sponsor, Mr, Beck. XVith his helpful suggestions and advice the council has been able to achieve so many things advantageous to the entire student body.
