OFFICE GIRLS Standing: Marie Kane, Mary Lou Fristoe, Erna Fae Dunbar, Mildfed Simpkins, Miss NVaring, june Roc O'Dell. Seated: Mary Calhoon. LI BRARIANS This year we have seven librarians. This means you can find a girl behind the librar- ianis desk any time you need someone to assist you in finding a book or checking it in or out. These girls. like the office girls, are also the students' favorite helpers because they assist students to find all kinds of excel- lent material and bright ideas for the many themes which must be written. Besides check- ing in and out books, they see that books are in their proper places on the shelves, and find any missing or misplaced books. These girls, under the direction of Nliss Ayers. are receiv- ing beneficial and profitable training. l4f3l OFFICE GIRLS This year six girls were given the oppor- tunity to learn about office procedure under the direction of the office secretary, Miss Waring. These girls are considered favorite helpers by all because of their various duties such as: ringing the bell at the end of the period, writing out tardy and excuse slips, dismissing certain classes early for lunch, an- swering the telephone, counting meal tickets and lunch money, typing, filing, and various other tasks. Each girl has certain duties which she performs daily besides helping with the general office work. She is able to gain much knowledge and experience through this train- lllg.
