Page Four mf Lady of ,Quito THE ECHO OF OUR FAVORITE PRAYER wends its way to your heavenly throne, dear Lady of Quito, as we once more lovingly salute you as Our Sorrowful and Immac- ulate Motherf, In memory of the happy occasions when we conducted others on a spiritual pilgrimage to your Shrine at Quito, and with humble gratitude for your maternal guidance through our school days at S. E. A., we dedicate the pages of this year book to you. Even as we honor your -sorrows endured for us, we are mindful of the long journey we must yet undertake. We too will encounter hardships, and the burden of our cross will impede our footsteps. Nevertheless, O loving Patroness, we place ourselves under the mantle of your protection, confident that you will help us bear each cross, that you will make it sweeter ..... lighter ..... yours. Please never forsake your children until one day our pilgrimage ends, as yours did, in everlasting happiness in heaven. Amen.
