1 Legion 0 mf Prayer is the power house of legion activity Page Twenty-eight Enrolled under the standard of the Legion of Mary, members of Our Lady of Grace Praesidium pray and work for the spread of the kingdom of Christ. Their apostolic duties include work at the Maryknoll and Mission Offices, St. Ioseph's Orphanage, The Sacred Heart Program, assisting the Peter Claver Sisters and the Little Sisters of the Poor, and typing and circulating Legion of Decency lists. The girls are directed by Sister M. Mildred, C.PP.S. who with the officers, Mary Harper, president, Rita Rogles, vice-president, Carol Roach, secretary and Ioan Bittner, treasurer, try to bring glory to God and Mary.

The first scene depicted the Annun- ciationg the second, the Visitation, the third, Seeking Lodging in Bethlehem, the fourth, the Birth of Christ, The cast of characters included: Carole O'Neill as the Blessed mother, Barbara Peach, St. Iosephg and Margie Irvin as the Angel Gabriel. Mary's Cousin Elizabeth Was portrayed by Eileen Wilmsg the innkeeper by Barbara Ruckg the innkeeper's wife by Mary Gutermuthg and the rich man by Lorraine Bremehr. The four prophets of the Old Testament Were: Iulia Roerkohl, Ianet Meier, Mary Candrl and Mariette Kalbac. Carol Lewis, Judy Iulius and Ioan Bittner acted as the three Kings While Anita Muenstermann and Mary Pat Nicholson portrayed the shepherds. Page Twenty-seven

Members of Our Lady of Grace Praesidium assist with various clerical duties at the Central Office of the Sacred Heart Program doing their bit in making 1956 a great Sacred Heart Yearw, the Centenary of extending the feast of the Sacred Heart to the whole Catholic world. Their small yet Well-intentioned services are part of the World-Wide apostolate on television and radio, which numbers ll41 stations. The girls Work under the direction of Father Eugene P. Murphy, SJ., the National Director of the program, and his zealous co-laborers who strive to bring the Sacred Heart to the World and the World to the Sacred Heart. Page Twenty-nine
