gttctaltgy Just zz zlob of red here and a little yellow there. These are the words of a real artist-SISTER CLEOPI-IA. Besides giving her pupils a finer appreciation of art and beauty Sister donates much time and contributes many skillful ideas toward making our boys over there happy through her contributions to the Red Cross. Latin and French are SISTER MARY THERESE'S specialties. With characteristic calm she unravels the intricacies of Latin word order and con- structionsg With genuine good cheer, the enunciation and pronunciation of French phraseology. SISTER REMIGIA is famous for her Do, Re, Me, Fas. There is music in her voice and step. Those lilting melodies hummed by members of the chorus and the selections rendered by her music pupils are fine examples of Sister's untiring efforts to make this a more musical world. SISTER AMANDA guides the faltering steps of the little third and fourth graders along the troublesome paths of reading, 'riting and 'rithmeticf' SISTER AGNES MARIE gladly ministers to the tiniest need and want of the junior division of resident students. . Under what better care and guidance could the tiny kindergarten tots be placed than that of gentle and kind SISTER BERENICE? She is like another guardian angel to them. From the smallest child to the senior class Sister is loved and respected. - There are many students who look back through the years and remember dear SISTER GREGORY who taught them their A, B, Cs, their numbers, and the unforgettable stories of the Christ Child. Sister Gregory teaches them to her little first and second grade pupils with as much enthusiasm and sincerity as she did years ago. History, geography, arithmetic, and those countless other things which puzzle fifth and sixth graders are in the capable hands of SISTER ALEXIA. Sister has disclosed the-secret of happiness to her pupils- Keep busy. Always interested and interesting SISTER MARY DOLORES is a guiding and helping hand to the seventh and eighth grade girls, preparing them for their great day-entrance into high school. , Toll-house cookies, cherry pies and other more practical dishes are the result of SISTER I.UCIA'S cooking hints. SISTER JOHANNA unhesitatingly straightens the rugged paths of knowledge for grade school pupils, giving a bit of advice here and a helping hand there. Above the clickety-clack of the typewriters, and the rapid motion of pencils can be heard the soft calm voice of MRS. CLARK HARDY, instructor in the commercial department. Her experience and ability are a great asset in preparing the students for the business world. To eager young students from freshman to senior classes MISS MARGUERITE BREWER has laid a firm foundation in dramatic art. Her experience and talent have been largely the cause of the Acaderny's success in both stage productions and oratorical contests. The name of MISS LORETTA RAPP has been linked with sports and gymnastics at the Academy for the past year and a half. Since Miss Rapp believes that sound bodies make for good citizenship, she endeavors to make her class and extra-curricular activities intensive periods of real physical training. Page Nine

Mfl'he Tltinzyw I Will be with you all days. As We leave the Academy, We re- affirm the presence in our hearts of the Way, humbly thankful for the great gift of Divine Companion- ship through life. Throughout the years We have been conscious of the Light- from Within ever guid- ing us. But never has this knowl- edge held more promise of eternal love than it does as We stand in the dawn of our tomorrow most inti- mately united With Christ, the Way.
