Spanish Club The Spanish Club organized in 1928 was originally an organization composed of members of Spanish descent. This year in order to broaden their activities they decided to invite as members any student who had a conversational knowl- edge of Spanish. This step brought in several members who could not otherwise have joined. The purpose of the club is to enable its members to acquire a facility in the use of Spanish, and to bring into close connection the Spanish speaking students of the school. Although they have not been as active this year in the line of dramatics as they have formerly been they have taken a big part in the other campus activities. l Under the guidance of Fr. O'Don- nell who has served as faculty advisor the club has sustained a very co- operative spirit. Manuel Ochoa, the president of the club, is responsible for the interesting and entertaining meetings that have been character- istic of the club this year. Regular meetings were held each month for the benefit of the members. Outer row: OCHOA, E. VILLARREAL, C. BENA- l vines, R. DEHARO, DUQUE. Q Inner row: I-IOLGUIN, A. BENAVIDES, A.
