BOMBA Co-Cnr-T. ELECT BIMXCKXVELI. BROTHERMAN Fullback Tackle End The season was ushered in with Sarafiny's Saints battling the vaunted Loyola VVolves on the Pack's home field in New Orleans' first night game. Although fighting every minute the Blue and Gold warriors were defeated by the highly effective aerial attack of the VVolves 18 to 0. The New Orleans sport scribes were unanimous in their praises of the well coached Saint eleven and were enthusiastic about the work of Fanette, Frisch, and Hertenberger. Although the Saints again tasted defeat in their fray with the University of Texas they demonstrated a brilliant offensive as well as defensive game. A sweltering Texas sun combined with the great reserve strength of Littlef1eld's squad was more than Hilltoppers could cope with and they lost 13 to 0. The Longhorns garnered but nine first downs after using everything they had in the way of attack and practically every man on the squad. R K Top row: COACH SARAFINY, CANION, KELSEY, BLACKWELI., A.
