Through the season new talent was shown and the future looks promising. One of the highlights of this year's season was earning 101 Vi points at the Pender Invitational and coming home with a third place trophy. Jeff Martin had 18 pins during the season, which is a new school record. Ending their season in Lincoln. state qualifiers were Scott Stuhlmiiler, 126, and Jeff Martin at 132. Despite injuries and lack of experience, the wrestlers hung in there and helped form a strong foundation for next year's team. State Qualifiers: Scott Stuhlmlllet 126 Dock Row: E. Anderson J. I don’t know just what it takes, to keep from feeling down, just know I have to turn myself around. I think I need a different place where I feel like I belong, where I can simply be myself, and not feel like I'm wrong. But leavin' doesn't mean I'll find an answer. I'm after things that life can't guarantee. And still I know I need the chance to find out for myself, that what I am is all that I can be. At times I think that leavin' is the only thing to do, at other times I only wish I knew. If all the things I'm hoping for will be worth it if I go, and yet if I don’t take the chance, will I ever know? 'cause leavin' doesn't mean I'll find an answer. I'm after things that life can't guarantee, and still I know I need tha chance to find out for myself, that what I am is all that I can be. Lyrics by Nancy Price Music by Don Besig - f V A . N .
