Highs And Lows Of Volleyball The girls volleyball season ended with a record of 4-7. In spite of their record the girls finished among the top five teams in the ten team Golden -rod Conference. Inconsistency was a problem that plagued the girls throughout the season. As the season progressed, the girls began to see the importance of working as a team and the necessity of repetition in gaining competence in basic skills. The emphasis was on doing their best against all teams. St. Ed's talent was evident when three members of the squad received All-Conference Honors-Jo Afrank and Cary Micek 1st team, and Pam Sindelar 2nd team. The future looks bright for volleyball with the many fine sophomore and freshman girls.
