Jamie swett, rushing for 1253 yards and averaging 7.7 yards was selected for both all-state and all-conference, all-conference john kmiecik rushing for 889 yards (averaging 5.4 yds.) punted an average of 42.6, one of the best in the state, st. ed. dominated the goldenrod conference with 12-22 positions on all-conference, on their way to the championship, the gridders defeated the walthill bluejays, 34-14, at wayne state, this headed them to columbus for the championship game against the alma cardinals, st. ed also beat the cards by a wide margin, 24-6. the seniors leave s.e.h.s. after compiling a 36-1-3 record.
