New Gym and Improved Record A little more speed and height was one of our biggest problems. Balanced scoring will be one of the main things the reserves will be looking for. —COACH SILLAU. If the team would have scored a dozen more points spread out in several close games, we would have had a winning season instead of a losing one. --COACH SENFF. Best year in a long time. --SOPHOMORE. I am a basketball nut. I love the game and feel that with a few breaks, we would have had a . 650 season. Practices were long and tough, but you usually didn't get bored out of your mind. After the new gym was built, we did OK, I guess. We screwed up district, though. — SENIOR. We did very well considering the facilities we had during the early part of the season. —SOPHOMORE. We were actually an inexperienced team. We gained lots of experience during the year and should be better next year. --FRESHMAN. sports 19 RECORD KNEELING: Dave Johnson, Dave Niemann, Ralph VanMeter, Terry Evans, Todd Meridith, Kent Cruise, Mike Sindelar, Bill Wells, Don Mahoney, STANDING: Coach Steve Senff, Kenny Jasa, Bob Nicklasson, Randy Stevens, Jim Week, Jim Nicklasson, Lindsey Niemann, Alan Kaspar, Kenny Carter, Morrie Baustert, Coach Bill Sillau.
