THE BEAVER 1968 St. Edward High School St. Edward, Nebraska THE NOW GENERATION Rave Of The Present Wave Of The Future A Brief Glance At Our World Dedicated To Mrs. Judy Thompson It is with sincere gratitude that we, the Class of 1968, dedicate this BEAVER to Mrs. Judy Thompson. As English instructor, librarian, Thespian director, and class sponsor she has served us, taught us, and been our friend. Her contagious enthusiasm and interest in each individual are qualities each of us will remember. It is for these and many other reasons that we say, Thank you, Mrs. Thompson. 2 I ADMINISTRATION FACULTY FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Mr. Warren Miller, Mrs. Trudi Dubs, Mr. Raymond Mahoney, Mrs. Gayle Werner Mr. Raymond Dawson, Mr. Neal Flaherty. However, success is a relative thing and depends greatly on each of you as separate and distinct individuals possessing and making use of basic and intrinsic values acquired from your educational experiences. We as educators alone do not determine your future success. We are merely the instruments who try to show you the way by providing for you the most desirable experiences. You, the individual student, will untimately determine your success. Therefore, not only a good education, but also you are the key to your future success. Principal MR. WILLIAM EIDAM Commercial - Guidance B.S Midland College Each year the role of the public school becomes more complex. In the past the teaching of the three R’s reading, rit-ing, and rithmetic was considered the sole purpose of the school. With succeeding generations, however, we are expected to furnish guidance, counseling, psychiatric and health care, along with many others. We at St. Edward strive to fulfill as many of these duties as we can in order to enable each individual to realize his full potentialities To Improve SEHS 5 MRS. MARION CLARK Home Economics B.S. First of all, we were the largest class of SEHS with a total of 37 members. Secondly, this was the year we sought revenge by initiating the Freshmen. Sophomores also took the prize for best banner at the 1967 Homecoming festivities. The class held a bake sale in November as our only money raising project. With the help of our sponsor, Mr. Eidam, we planned and sponsored Homecoming '67. The Pep Club also sponsored Awards Night on April 20.
