MR. GALEN JOHNSON Superintendent - English B. S., M. Ed. University of Nebraska SCHOLASTIC Is our education important to us? Do we really need it? These are questions that may often be uppermost in..the minds of young people of school age. In all fairness to hijnself and to his associates, I believe that a student-must answer Yes to the questions. In today's fast-pace society, education seems to be the only answer if we desire to advance ourselves to the extent that we become worthy of the opportunities that lie ahead. Most of these opportunities are reserved for only those who have the necessary education to qualify for them. Education, education, and more education seems to be the most reliable password to opportunity and success as we look ahead to what the future holds for us. MR. GALEN JOHNSON Superintendent MRS. MR. GARRY RIGGS Science B.S. Chadron State College MR. WILLIAM EIDAM Principal - Commercial B.S. Midland College Education in the United States is for the benefit of all children regardless of race or creed. It has become a long struggle to obtain equal opportunities for all. Now, it is up to the individual student to see to it that he takes advantage of the opportunities given him. Unless all strive to do their best to learn, our present way of life is doomed. The way to better life is through education; see to it that your talents are not wasted. MR. WILLIAM EIDAM Principal 5
