University of Nebraska As society and life continue to become more complex, it appears evident that we must renew our efforts in our struggle to train our young people both mentally and physically, if they are to be ready to meet die demands and challenges that await them. He should be provided with a stimulating environment and opportunities for learning experiences which will affect continuing satisfactory adjustments to life. Education is for all of the children of all of the people; made possible through the efforts of all of the people. Education should be looked upon as an opportunity and not an I-have-to.” An uneducated individual lives with many fears. The world is against him, or so he believes.
