Kennedy was assassinated Nov. 22nd. Rod Koerber won the Co. Government Day essay contest on Nov. 26th. Jr. Class Play Nov. 22nd. DEC: Linda Jenkins won the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow Award test taken Dec. 3rd. JAN: The MBN basketball tournament was held the 6th to the 10th. The Albion Choral Clinic was held Jan. 17th. The Goldenrod Confeence BB tournament was held the 21st to the 24th at Stromsburg. FEBR: The Jr. High placed 2nd in the BB tournament held at Cedar Rapids the 5th, 6th, and 8th. The FFA and FHA Sweetheart Dance was held Febr. 11th. The District BB Tournament was held at Columbus the 28th. St. Ed. won over Humphrey by 2 points in the last 8 seconds. MARCH: Daryl Reynoldson received the top score bf the class in the National Math. Exam taken the 5th. APRIL: The Srs. held their class play the 3rd. The FFA Banquet was held April 21st. Music Contest was held at Central City April 23, 24, and 25. Rural Fields Day was held April 24th. Sneak Day was held April 17th. Awards night was April 30th. MAY: St. Edward won THE GOLDENROD TRACK MEET held at St. Paul May 4th. On May 5th, the night of the Jr. Sr. Prom, a tornado struck St. Edward. St. Edward won THE DISTRICT TRACK MEET held May 8th. Our first visit is with DENNIS BAUSTERT who is selling pencils on the street corner as predicted by one of his former teachers. Next we drop in on MIKE BYSTROM and CLAIR CARDER who are still going to trade school and staying with Roger. GLADYS CRISS has a chain of successful No-Doze factories. NICK FONDA is still trying to work up to private in the Marines. JAKE GASPER has just won the Indianapolis 500 in number 44. Our next stop is the grand opening of the newly remodeled Frank's Pool Hall. The new owner and operator is LINDA HILLER. BONNIE JAMES is the new owner of the entire Miss Clairol corporation. We find JOE ROBERTS deep in thought as he tries to find enough money for his alimony payments. LINDA JENKINS is teaching Drivers' Education in St. Ed. with a Volkswagen. KENNY KRUEGER is in charge of radio operations for the Safety Patrol. DUANE SAWYER is a successful businessman, Warren Miller's closest competitor. PHYLLIS SHOTOSKI is in deep thought as she is trying to figure out a way to collect her alimony. DONNA VAN METER is still chasing soldier boys. SHIRLEY WHIDDEN is seen pawning her clarinet to make the last payment on Denny’s new car. LOREEN McINTOSH is handing out sandwiches in the breadline for the unemployed. MARVIN ZELAZNY is the Ag. teacher in St. Ed.; the boys call him Mr. Z. DARYL REYNOLDSON followed his brother's footprints, he is the cop in St. Ed. LORRIE WERNER is playing basketball with the Harlem Globe Trotters. DON HOMAN is seen climbing the Farmers' Union Elevator. SALLY ROBERTS is running the first horse ranch--on the moon.
