SNEAK DAY The Senior Class of 1961 arose early on March 24 as they prepared to fulfill their plans of sneaking away from S.E.H.S. for a day. It was approximately 5:00 a.m. when we left. Mr. Galen Johnson drove the school bus and Mr. and Mrs. Liewer were our sponsors. At 7 a.m. we were eating breakfast in Fremont. From there we motored on to Boys' Town for a very interesting and educational tour. Due to the detours we found that we were a little late to Swift and Co., our next stop. A guide showed us the processing of meat from slaughter to package. We enjoyed a free dinner on the 10th floor of Brandeis, from the 10th floor we could view the city. During the afternoon we bowled and shopped. We ate supper at Caniglias. As the high lite of the day we attended Cinerama at the Cooper theatre. 13

b v SENIOR PROPHECY In the year of 1971, while taking our annual trip around the world, we decided to visit our old friends from S.H.H.S. Let's see, our first visit will be with BOB CRUISE, he is a judge of the Miss America beauty contest, Bob always 1 did have an admiration for curves. In a lumber camp in Northern Ontario, we find CONNIE JASA married to a huskie lumberjack. She finds life very interesting, one of her many hobbies is making toothpicks out of splinters she finds in her husband's pant's cuffs. Next we see MELVIN CARLSON counting herns in THE CARLSON NATIONA1 BANK. Then we find MARVIN RINKOL happily married and after all these years he is not henpecked. He told us the reason as, My wife goes her way and I go--hers. CYNTHIA OSANTOWSKI is a hard working woman now as a midget window cleaner. She goes around cleaning people's eyeglasses. A lonely whistle shrills through the night, it's the midnight freight bound for New Orleans. In a swaying boxcar, we find happy-go-lucky EUDELL REMMEREID, taking his yearly trip south. LINDA JAMES is now St. Edward's first policewoman. She is doing more to preserve law and order than ten men. If one were to go to the new Gypsy Tea Room, he would find MARJORIE DICKENSON as the fortune teller, she has a very profitable business. ALAN SMITH has made his life ambition come true, he is now a renowned playboy of New York society. LINDA WEEK resides in a Park Avenue apartment. She married a Fuller Brush man that was just passing through. He swept her away. Now we see GENE KLASSEN, he is retired as he has spent these last ten years as a missionary to Cannibal Islands, where he taught them reading, writing, arithmetic and how to prepare food properly. DONNA LONG joined the circus to become a sword swallowe: but troubles mounted as she developed a chronic case of hiccups. MAX THOMAZIN, a potential lady killer of S.E.H.S. turned away from women before it was too late. He is a well-known author now. His latest book is Catch Me If You Can. South of Austin, Texas we find GLORIA SWANSON running a profitable business. She manufactures the glue that holds hot tamales together. If one was to go to the famous Tistight Dress Shoppe in gay Paris, one would find DELORIS LAWRENCE, world renowned dress designer, creating a new masterpiece. GARY HOWSER is still a politician at heart, but in a different catagory--pulling strings in a corset factory. On the shores of Newfoundland lives LINDA ANDERSON. She married a fisherman. Something fishy about how they met, Linda opened a can of sardines and there he was. Love at first sight. RONNIE CRUISE is now a professional organist in the Methodist Church in Yukon, Canada. We find DONN McKAY in the French Foreign Legion polishing off camels by the pack. For our last visit we take highway 104 through Death Valley, we find SHARON REED right in the middle. She runs a 24-hour combination restaurant and filling station. 14
