Speech Activities Representatives from all the high school classes earned recog- nition and honors for Saint Edward's this year in the many speech tour- naments in which they participated. The Genedward Players had a busy and successful year with their production of King Lear. They won first place with their play at the University of Dallas Play Fes- tival and won the honor to take the play to San Antonio for a production of it there. Toni Interrante, Mike O'Shea, and Dona Spawn received superior ratings for their performances in King Lear.

The actions of the Sodalists ex- tended from the realm of the spiritual to the apostolic. Teresa Becker and Ann Favreau attend the National Sodality Convention. Saint Edward Sodalists were present with hundreds of other Sodalists at the Summer School of Catholic Action. Here they attend Mass in a body.
