The Kennedys ' ' Shakespeare has written: When sorrows come, they come in battalions. To the Kennedys, they have come in divisions and regiments; still their indominahle spirit re- mains unbroken. Despite their many sorrows, they still carry the torch high. The Kennedy ' s represent to the nation a bea- con of hope and a tower of strength. Though John Fitz- gerald Kennedy and Robert Francis Kennedy are gone, their dreams and beliefs have burned a lasting memory in our minds. Once there were four broth- ers; now there is one. He is today the Keeper of the Ken- nedy Flame. And as John Fitzgerald Kennedy once said about his youngest brother, Edward Moore Kennedy: And the last shall be first. Your faculty, religious and lay, has given hours of time preparing your soul, spiritually, intellectually, morally and emotionally, so that you will take the Tool of Thought and fashion a ' thousand joys ' for the world. Wherever you are now, your thoughts, spiritually, intellectually, morally and emotionally, have brought you there. Whatever you are now, your thoughts nave made you. Whatever you will be, your thoughts, spiritually, intellectually, morally and emotionally, will determine. Scripture tells us, As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
