HI TORY The aim of the history department is to produce a well-informed responsi- ble citizenry. To accomplish this, the curriculum provides courses for each of the four years of high school. As freshmen, the students become aware of foreign lands and peoples in their study of World Geography. As sophomores, World History introduces them to the cradle of civili- zation. Then, the best of all nations enthralls them as they arrive in the third year to the study of American History. Fourth year, students ponder the theory of economics and the problems which they will encounter in the near future. Economically speaking . . says Sister Cornelian. --
