'kiillillk S Almost every epoch in history has been mar- ked by some evil force battling against what is good. This present era is no exception to his- torical tradition. Communism is the strangest influence that has ever infiltrated the lives of a people. lt preaches class warg it hates Cod. Yet it has many followers. Today stories of social evils fill our news- papers, Our youth are succumbing to these evil influences. How are we to be protected from them? By our indoctrination with the teachings of Christ, we are guided to the truth, By reading good Catholic literature, we avoid unwholesome con- tacts. Our greatest ally, however, is prayer. Let us seek deliverance from evil, on our knees! Watch ye, and pray that ye enter not into temptation

They leave with serenity of mind, brought about by a clear conscience. Complete peace of soul comes only if we are at peace with Cod and man, We may not refuse forgiveness to our neighbor.
