Band has a very interesting record for the past twelve months. After a fine showing in the VVestern Maine Music Festival held in Portland last vear and the receiving of highly commendable citations from the judges, the band resumed activities in September. The boys put in long hours in precision drilling and routines, and participated in all the football games, at home and out of town. Besides, the band paraded-on various patriotic and social occasions. They are now wholeheartedly preparing the annual Spring Concert which seems to be more popular year after year. The foundation of iuniors bands at St. Peters. St. Marys, and St. Patrick's school, and of a Parents' Association to provide them with uniforms is another fine move our music department is justly proud of.

VVe are surely going to miss these well-gifted musicians: Aime, Bertrand, Gerald, Lucien, Maurice, Robert, jean, Ronald, Roland, and Paul. They love their aggregation and its numerous activities. They will, no doubt, miss the band as much as we will miss them. The music department will not easily forget Managers Bolduc and St. Pierre, the one with his ever-handy car, the other with a very serviceable truck. Both, with Rosaire Brodeur, are going to be remembered by the under- graduates as the boys who kept things moving in rehearsals, parades, and con- certs. Our leaving members loved the band sincerely and contributed greatly to its ascension towards success. May many others imitate their fine example of un- selfish devotion.
