THE BOOSTERS CLUB THE EXECUTIVE BOARD From Left to Right: Reggie Cloutier, Dr. Paul Forticr, Brother Fcrnand, Tony Blanchard, Lucien Blais, Chief Booster, Donat Fortin, Father Drouin, Mayor Louis P. Gagne, Eugene Cloutier, Thomas Knrrigan, Romeo Forgues. OUR FRIENDS, THE BOOSTERS The student body at Saint Dominic's, and especially the class of 1949, will forever be grateful to this fine organization, The Boosters' Club . Its Board of Directors and its Advisory Council have acknowledged no limitations to the possi- bilities of making our School one of the most important in the State. Let us mention but a few ot their contributions during the present academic year: the football Field with removable bleachers that can seat 2,400 fansg the levelling ofl' accomplished on the site of the future schoolg the laying of the founda- tion for an ice arenag the financing of the trip to the New England Hockey Tournament. We know that publicity is not the aim of this organization. lts members real- ize that the growth and prosperity of the Twin-Cities as well as that of our country is dependent on the education and discipline the youth of today receives in the various schools. They know that the education given at Saint Dominic's is second to none and that the school must prosper in every respect. To this end they are willing to give not only from their purse but from their person as well. We are proud of you, Friend-Boosters! May the sacrifices that you accept so willingly help each one of us to live to your expectations. We do thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. Ernie Sutton, '49
