THE PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE How fast the days went by, how fast this year Hew by on rosy wings! In a few days, the Hnal bell will let us hear the parting knell. And all of us will enjoy a well-deserved two-month vacation. May we not during these summer months forget our religious duties and shirk the responsibilities we have so clearly understood and accepted during our Freshman year. Let Mary, The Star of the Sea, be the shining light that will guide us through the difficulties we are likely to meet. Remember, FRESHMEN, you are all expected to be back at Saint Dominie's next September. No change in the school policy will occur during the summer. Till then, I leave you with these, my best wishes: Holy, joyful, and Healthy' vacation to every one of you. Pierre Paradis, '52 President HONOR STUDENTS. jean Paul Labonte Normand Blanchette Normand St. Pierre You probably heard Cacsar's famous saying, I came, I saw, I conquered. Well, we came, we saw, but we were conquered! The kindness, the patience, and the understanding of the members of the Faculty played the trick on us. Donald Bolduc, '52 The distribution of the reports cards is what impressed me most deeply. What a tension when our beloved Pastor hands the dreaded reports! Soon we regain our countenance for he always has an encouraging word and a melancholy look to stimulate those who were too lenient for themselves. Doc Lessard, '52 When I graduated from Grammar School, I felt lost in the world that had opened wide to my view. But when I commenced school as a Freshman at St. Dominic's, I realized that the world is full of friends. Alfred Dumond, '52
