OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE SCHOOL We are but SOPHOMORES! Yet, in the two short years that we have been attending Saint Dominic's, we have had more than sufficient time to realize the many advantages offered by a GRAND SCHOOL where the religious teachers work hand in hand with their pupils, where friendship established not only on mere social conventions but on supernatural motives is taught effectively day in and day out, where our American motto E Pluribus Unum is an everyday accomplishment, where sincerity in life, Veritas Vitae , is taught in action as well as in words. To the eyes of the supposedly wise, our actions may not always have been an evidence of our deep appreciation and sincere gratitude for so many benefits, but, we know that we have meant well and that our teachers, who are gifted with a keen understanding of the problems proper to our age, read the expression of our contentment and of our thanks even in our apparent giddiness.
