1 One of man's faculties that afford much pleasure and satisfaction is his ability to relive the past with the aid of a suggestive instrument. We, the Seniors of 1948, have meant this yearbook to be such an instrument. We have tried to make it as informative and recollective as possibleg and above all, to im- pregnate it with the spirit that is St. Dom's. We are presently enjoying our last days at St. Dominic's. They are marked as usual by much joy and laughter, while we are getting ready for the final get together. But the day approaches when it is time for good fellows to part, and we already an- ticipate the catch in our throats that will betray the tense emotion when four years of happiness in work and play are come to an end. We earnestly hope that this edition of EC H0 will prove a fitting souvenir of our loves, our aversions, our light and informal moments, when friendship was at its best.
