WORLD PEACE EDITORIAL E the common people of the world want peace We want to have the shadow of death and destructuon removed from the realm of pass: bIlIty and Its place taken by the spIrIt of tranqullllty and brotherly love We do not want to see the youth of our natIons offered as holocausts on the bloody altars of the god of War We saId these thIngs nIneteen years ago when the most harrIble war In all hIstory came to a conclusIon wIth a death toll terruble to contemplate Yet today we fInd wars and rumors of wars The sItuatIon IS appallIng Wlth all our cIvIlIzatIon wlth all our culture we stlll have to revert to a prImItIve method brute force In order to settle arguments between natIons Let us conslder the foolhardIness of thus method ln the fnrst place It ls not the natuon whlch IS correct In Its contentuons that wIns a war rather IS It the natIon whuch can muster the greatest fIghtIng forces A glance at any Modern HIstory wIll QIV6 credence to thIs fact Furthermore the natnon conquered rarely takes the defeat gracefully but rather Immedlately after the so called peace treaty has been slgned beglns preparatIons for future wars Oh not openly perhaps but In secret Then In a few years It lS ready to fInd some excuse to fIght agaIn Dlsregardlng these facts what proflt does the VICTOFIOUS natlon acqulre from a war?
