Oh what 1+ wasnt' The enthuslasrtlc Junlors spent days dartmg ln and out of the llbrary browslng through books about Shakespeares llfe and plays the customs of the day and the Ehzabethan theatre Everywhere your feet took you there was a 1un1or readlng Shakespeare As the1r m1nds eagerly consumed knowl edge the days sllpped by and before long Forum Hour loomed 1nto focus By pushlng the desks agalnst the walls Ye Ole Classroom was converted 1nto Ye Anclent Forum Th1s effect havlng been ac qulred the hour got under way As our authorltles on Shakespeare let loose w1th thexr knowledge questlons arose lnterestlng tldblts of lnformatlon seeped 1nto the Forum Hour and yes we emerged know mg all about Shakespeare As a result of the Shakespeare class a project was launched by the presldent Agnes Sekac and another Jumor who were well sup phed w1th scotch tape They constructed a m1n1ature Shakespearean theatre whlch was dlsplayed ln the llbrary The Jumors mterest 1n Shakespeare d1d not run out completely On the contrary for the rest of the school year Slsters desk was at one t1me or another decorated wlth newspaper chppmgs or a ma gaz1ne 3111016 concernmg h1m Nor shall lt end there for as surely as tlme t1CkS around the clock the Jumors w1ll be ever mmdful of the Immortal Bard Allcla Ghelardl 57 Bloomsburg Pennsylvanla 113 1 . Ad Astra per Aspera Outside --there was a hazard- ous combination of snow, fog, sleet and iceg the kind of weather that few will venture to face Inside there was music and dancing beneath a star studded sky Mary Stella Maris and pat roness of the Class of 56 was enshrined within a large shining star to receive the tribute of u nanimous devotion as Queen of the Senior Prom The Senior Prom That was the magnet which drew the young men to brave the iciest streets ever in order to thrill to the charms of young maidenhood So dearly earned the occasion could bring the couples but Joy and satisfaction The theme song that evening was Stairway to the Stars and it is my guess that the starry eyed seniors have re lived those happy moments hundred of times since Margaret Kralouc 54 Cleveland Ohio Y Away I ' I xv 'Sf' . , ' ' 7 Y by .
