ORM V Mar Most glorious and new-born Child. . . on this Christmasmorn, let not mythoughts center on physical gifts and receivings, but on the grace and servitude needed to welcome you into the world and into my heart. You are the image of goodness, of hu- mility, of love. . .Render to me these attributes, that my service might reflect the adoration due You and Your Father. Let my soul, innocent Savior, bathe in the light of your presence, creating a manger in which you will presently lie. Come, Christ, come. . .dwell within me, makingmy Christmas day complete. White velvet' The symbol of kings! Flowing velvet especially white, is the dream of every designer. Yet no designer has ever come up with a creation to match the random falling of the flakes of white. Everything from the smallest grain of sand to the mightiest receives a coat of velvet that cannot be matched bv the greatest fashion houses. This coat though centuries old, gains in magnificence every time it is put on. Kingly splendor with the innocence of a newborn babe 1S reflected in every crystal of white. Designers have never created such a combination in a robe-- but then again they have never designed a robe Janet L16.Z C When the warmth of Christmas fills the house And the glow from the Christmas tree makes your heart beat fast, Did you ever turn for a look out the window And wonder how anything could be as lovely as new falling snow on Christmas evening? Like the downiest of blankets it covers the grass And fills the corners of each window-pane glass. The gleam from the streetlamp makes it shimmei and As if each snowflake were a diamond cut ever so fine Down, down it drifts Prom the star-strewn velvet we call the sky. Dancing and swaying in the breath of the night Till it touches the earth where it's destined to lie Whenever God allows such a beautiful snowfall on Christmas Evening, I wonder at the brilliance of the combination And I exclaim in my heart, It's Christmas! It's snowing! I'm glad I'm alive. M46 Tree decorating time, Is an anticipated time. Everyone has a specific job, but it seems as the years go by They are passed along from I can recall when my Dad used to string all the lights. to have acquired the task. I suppose that in time, It will pass down the line. I imagine though as the years go It will be the Job of two the original two, Mom and Dad s one to the other, with a little sigh But now, my older brother seems The job of supervising the whole operation has been given to me without justification The job in itself isn't too bad at that I just go about it as a matter of fact
